Boris Seewald

Momentum

Germany 2013, 06:43 min.

Victoria Guy

Future Study no.1

UK 2013, 13:14 min.

Set in Canary Wharf, London's main financial centre, the architecture is used to identify the visual identity and experience of a "megacity". With words such "freedom" and "greed" given new meaning by neo-liberal economists such as Milton Friedman, this short film looks at the line between the utopian and anti-utopian.

Inner Demon

Switzerland 2012, 08:57 min.

In this experimental dance short, a woman floats in a black void, swinging through shafts of light, keeping in perpetual motion an incandescent and familiar circular childhood toy. HOOP traces a provocative and sophisticated picture, breaking hula hoop stereotypes while merging themes of the cosmos, infinity and the cycle of life.

Régis Golay

Compagnie 7273

Switzerland 2012, 01:20 min.

A Dance company, 2 dancers, 3 choreographies, 3 bulldozer, poetry, a sequence shot. Either traveling in a gravel quarry. What the camera catches is a row of shovels. Three monsters to stop producing successively three times, three monochrome with ephemeral colored sand. These three sets of dust punctuate the passage of two dancers. And here we find the energy, colors, lines of the original choreography of Cie 7273: Climax, Nile Romance-s. In a slick sound quietly dramatic. Furiously against sky purple. The film is a concentrate, a precipitate of dance movement, so characteristic of choreographers Nicolas Cantillon and Laurence Yadi. It celebrates a striking encounter between body and bulldozers. Cie 7273 was commissioned to create 3 limited edition watches for Swatch. Federal studio was charged to create the video introducing the world of 7273..

# Director / Regisseur / Script: Régis Golay

# Choreography: Laurence Yadi, Nicolas Cantillon
# Dancers / Actors: Laurence Yadi, Nicolas Cantillon

# Camera: Meritxell Aumedes Molinero
# Editing: Federal studio
