Jan Goldfuß

EnTroPl
Germany 2011, 09:18 min.

Cristina Dias

L’instant suspendu
Belgium 2011, 12:37 min.

L’instant suspendu Film freely inspired by the short story "Ulrica" by Jorge Luis Borges (The Book of Sand). A fantastic love story through a mirror. Beginning of questioning, in choreographic language on themes dear to Borges, as the multiplicity of the world, its pitfalls and detours, the unreality of the self, the inconsistency of time, the darkness of being, the paradoxes of all kinds in the universe, the double, the mirror, dreams.
Synopsis It is noon, and a man is looking at himself in a mirror, when his reflection metamorphoses into a beautiful woman. She turns from him and runs into her world. His journey is through a never-ending world of stairs, in which time accelerates, slows, and even seems to stop.
